The brief
IPMS’ engagement was for Capital Works Project Management Services to deliver the existing 5YA. Engagement was our short form model for full professional services. The projects identified by the 5YA included re-roofing several buildings. Upgrade of classroom blocks and upgrade of the hall.
Our work
Initially, IPMS reviewed and then challenged the 10YPP that had been put in place by the previous project manager to make sure that the schools needs were been meet. We then developed a master plan to prioritized the client’s needs and provide a road map moving forward. Once completed, IPMS then procured and delivered the construction works to the master plan.
The outcome
This project was completed on time and to budget including identification of other issues that the previous Project Manager missed out of his 10YPP. The MOE are now addressing these issues through their emergency funding budgets.
