Our client wanted a team that could be part of a three-person panel (that included a councillor and council CEO) to interview prospective design and build companies for the project.
Following this, we were invited to observe during the design process and provide professional advice to the local community trust. At the end of this process, we were asked to provide an offer of service for the project management of the construction phase.
IPMS provided estimating, procurement management and construction contract administration services on this project. We had to manage the expectations of two very different clients as this project was a joint venture between the Matamata-Piako District Council and the Te Aroha Community Trust. Ultimately, the project was an outstanding success, and was delivered on time and on budget.
